Hello Everyone! Martha and I are going to take about a month off. This is high time for gardening and final cleanup for summer.
In addition, we will be flying to California the last of the month and early May to pick up our granddaughter. She is on a 3 1/2 month working voyage from Antigua to Tahiti. She is taking 12 difficult hours for college credit and doing all possible job on this 100 ft Sailing Schooner. We will pick her up in LA where we are staying with long time friends.
No worries. We will be finishing the series after we this hiatus. Questions still needing answers are:
1) What are the responsibilities of the earthly ruling powers?
2) How are Christians to be ambassadors to the world of Christ’s reconciliation?
3) Since we are in a battle against evil, how do we fight?
4) Are Christians to speak “truth to power” and if so how and when?
5) Do we have examples of God’s people “speaking truth to power” ? Note: By “power” here we mean those who rule in Government offices under which we may reside. Speaking “truth to power” means speaking out against the powers in control when they are doing things against the will of God. The above powers include both “good: and “bad” governments.
6) How do this answers affect how we view political decisions?
