Poem: Action

view From the Front Porch Porch

ACTION SPEAKS

Actions speaks louder

Than words, I’m told.

An excellent saying

From days of old.

Show by your life

Christ dwells within.

Demonstrate God’s love

To neighbor and friend.

It’s not enough—

“Be thou warmed and filled.”

An action’s demanded

To do God’s will.

A sermon that’s lived

Is the very best kind.

If it’s only words,

You miss every time.

Search for a good deed

To do every day.

This action’s fulfilling

In so many ways.
