Poems: Spiritual Gifts

Spiritual Gifts

We all have talents—

Some call them gifts.

We recognize some,

But, others we missed!

Some feel a calling –

Apostles of old,

Established the church

And did what were told!

Prophets declare

God’s message from above.

Helps folks understand,

Delivered with love!

Evangelists speak—

Deliver good news.

The gospel’s declared—

All of it’s true!

Pastors, Bishops, Elders—

Feed and protect the flock.

Care for others daily

Helps them grow a lot!

Teachers are unequaled!

Their influence is grand!—

Gifted, caring heroes—

BEST throughout the land!

Gifts of today

Translates into care.

Early intervention

Prevents much despair!

Though all of us have gifts,

Some got an extra share.

Let them be our leaders.

Grateful for their care.

Study on your gifts.

God wants us all to win

A home up in Heaven.

Rejoice and think of Him!

Service is a gift

From you to others.

Maturity results–

Helps sisters and brothers!

Study on your gifts!

God wants you to share

Your hope of heaven.

Let others know you care!

  1. Thanks Martha. You’re right, “Let others know you care!” is the “secret” to Christianity today.
